Is It Possible to Cure Stuttering? - The Truth Revealed!

I have speech issues and used to stutter a lot more than I do now. I personally found breath control seemed to be a big part of the issue.
I learned to play trumpet (obviously unrelated) and i noticed my stutter has drastically improved. But i have also taken drama classes , speech classes, and have had to read aloud a lot all of which improved the quality of my diction as well. the simplest trick i would suggest is to read aloud a book to your wife. its a sweet gesture/conversation piece, a nice way to relax before bed and after about an hours total time of this you will begin to notice your diction improve.

If reading aloud is very difficult maybe read to yourself aloud but by reading about a phrase like 6 to 15 words visually then reading the line aloud. Another trick you could try is reading a characters dialogue from a script or the captions of a TV. sounds crazy but that will be the most like conversational phrasing and phrasing? well that is breathing techniques just like a wind instrument.
Phrasing is more or less when you take a breath. a rule of thumb for acting is to pause at every period comma or semi colon . at the pause you can take a breath if needed.
